Yesterday was my second attempt at the Core Synergistics workout, and I definitely did better the second time around. I definitely need to invest a pair of 10 pound weights, though... there are some exercises that the bands just don't really work for. But, I digress. Having gone through the workout once already, I definitely had a better workout this time through. I was sweating my butt off about 20 mins in, but it was all good. This is another workout, like Kenpo, that seems to just fly by. The breaks are only 45 seconds or so, and the exercises are so diverse that you're constantly moving and before you know it, it's cool down time!
Hopefully all that core work proves beneficial for yoga- 5:45 hot yoga class tonight! Bringing a buddy to try it out; spreading the word about how awesome it is. Actually, we have a group of about 5 going tonight which should be a lot of fun.
