Yesterday was an X Strecth day, but I went the Yoga route instead. 75 minutes of stretching and core work does a body good! And, I gotta say, yesterday was one of the toughest classes I have had to date. Definitely struggled a little bit, but I worked through it and did pretty well I think.
I am almost done with my recovery week and onto phase 2 - pretty stoked! Can't believe I made it an entire month already... time is flying, which is awesome. The results are definitely there, and I am only about 30% done with the program! My energy level is through the roof, I feel great and am slimming down already. Couldn't ask for more out of it. As lame as this sounds, I am totally pumped for softball season to start, because I genuinely believe the plyometric conditioning is going to help me out a lot at shortstop. I feel so quick on my feet, how couldn't it?? Exactly - I am going to dominate. I am going to dominate slow-pitch, co-ed softball... all because of plyometrics.
